Booking your order…

At Legends Catering, we do our best to accept all catering order requests. All catering orders are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. We do occasionally experience booking overloads, so place your orders early if possible. Feel free to book your orders as far in advance as you like

Booking agents are available to assist you Mon – Fri, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

You may place orders in any of the following ways:

• ONLINE. Fill out the online order form found on our website.
• FAX. Print out an order form from our website and fax it to our office to 732-846-7445
• PHONE. Call our office and speak to a booking agent.
• VISIT OUR STORE. Stop in to our Milltown store location and speak with a booking agent. This is a great option for first time customers who are not sure what to expect from Legends. It allows you to view our menu items and purchase samples, if necessary. Please call for appointment.

When placing your order, please have the following information:

• Delivery Address
• Set up & Service times (please allow 30 minutes for set up)
• Approximate headcount. (Final headcount is required 48 hours prior to your event. Adjustments and reductions to your order may not be made within 48 hours of your event, though you are permitted to increase or add items to your order up until the day before your event.)
  

After an order is placed, a confirmation and invoice will be sent to you via email. Follow the instructions in the email to bind your order.

Special Requests…

Are you looking for a food item not offered on our menu? Ask us about it! Given ample notice, Legends is able to provide ALMOST any specially requested entree.

Delivery Services…

Legends is exclusively an off premise catering operation. We primarily deliver in the Greater Middlesex County area. Deliveries to surrounding counties can be made depending on the availability of delivery personnel. Legends will deliver to your home, office, training program, conference, school, sales presentation, family parties, holiday functions, etc. We also provide delivery service for bereavements and last minute catering orders.

Our minimum delivery / service fee is $14.50. Delivery / service fees may increase based on distance, size, and scope of an event. Our service representatives are available to assist you with any questions Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, and Saturdays, 10am – 3pm.

Minimum order for delivery is $50.00.

• Saturday: 7:00 am – 5 pm
• Sunday: Call for availability

Catering Pick Up Hours:

• Mon – Fri: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Sunday: Call for availability

Presentation...

All events are set up for buffet style self-service. Catering packages include tablecloths for buffet tables only. All tables must be set up prior to the arrival of our delivery personnel. Legends does not supply tables. Tablecloths are not included with a la carte items.

Payment options…

Please provide your preferred payment method when placing your order. Any of the following forms of payment are acceptable:

• Cash
• Personal or Company Check
• Major Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover)
• Rutgers and UMDNJ Purchase Orders and Check Requests
• State, County, and Public School Vouchers and Purchase Orders
  

Equipment Loaning Policy…

While the majority of your package items will be presented on attractive disposable ware, there are a few packages that may require use of our equipment.

For Hot Entrees: Wire chafing racks will be provided at a cost of $4.00 per rack. This charge will be added to your invoice, and will be refunded upon return of equipment to our store location. If you prefer, you are welcome to keep this equipment, as it will be considered to be a purchased item, paid in full upon delivery.

For Hot Beverage Service: Coffee urns, air pots, and burners will be provided with all packages that include hot beverages. A credit card number is required to secure this equipment loan, and the customer is responsible for return of all equipment to our store location on the next business day. Your credit card will be charged full retail value for all equipment if it is not returned on time and in working condition. We also offer disposable hot beverage equipment, which does not require a credit card number or return of equipment. Please contact our booking agents if alternate arrangements must be made.

Servers and Party Equipment/Favors/Etc…

Many clients enjoy the idea of being a guest at their own party and often request service staff. There are several excellent service companies in our area that we have worked with for many years. We are happy to provide you with contact information for these companies, or we can set up booking of these services for you.

While Legends does not provide items such as tables, linens, favors, sheet cakes, etc, we can offer many suggestions for finding top quality products within our area. Do you need something that Legends doesn’t offer? ASK US!! Please remember that we are here to help - if we can’t provide something, we can most certainly guide you in the right direction!
